1. To recognize and differentiate plant, moss, shrub, and woody sort litters, determine types of soil and forest.
2. To choose the type of forest regeneration (sowing, planting, natural), renewable sorts, use suitable forest regeneration techniques and methods, prepare appropriate instruments and materials for work.
3. To choose the method of soil preparation for forest regeneration and afforestation.
4. To perform maintenance of forest work (to cultivate seed plantations, to harvest cones and seeds, perform seed pre-treatment and storage).
5. To perform tree nursery work (to vaccinate, prepare the soil, sow, plant, cultivate crops and plantings, use plant fertilizers ( calculate norms, prepare fluids and so on), perform transplanting, prepare seedlings for realization).
6. To measure and identify the area, prepare sketches of the measured areas.

1. Ability to plan and organize one’s work and workplace by working independently and in a team and performing the work tasks in high quality by observing the labour protection, fire safety and electrical safety regulations, environmental protection requirements.
2. Ability to perform the work tasks in high quality by meeting the requirements of forest field regulatory acts and internal company rules.
3. Ability to perform wood maintenance in high quality and productively by using suitable working methods and techniques.
4. Ability to identify nature values, plan seed production tasks, perform soil preparation tasks, wood restoration, afforestation and forest stand maintenance, perform felling development, forest stand survey, as well as work in the tree nurseries according to the work task.
5. Ability to use environmentally friendly work techniques, use fuels and lubricants suitable for motor-driven instruments.
6. Ability to self-educate bydeveloping professional competence independently according to the latest trends in the forest field and development level of the applied technologies.
7. Aability to saw qualitatively and productively with motor-driven instruments available in the forestry, evaluate the quality of trees and, by using them rationally prepare valuable timbers meeting the wood material quality requirements.
8. Ability to record the completed work and used materials, control working progress and quality, perform cost calculation of the technological process.
