1.2. cooperation principles of different forces (sea/air/land);

1.4. regulatory enactments of the NATO and the European Union, hierarchy and application thereof;
1.5. structure and main objectives of the NATO, as well as its history and operations;
1.6. global and national political and economic processes.
2. The KNOWLEDGE at the level of understanding of:
2.1. supply organization principles of various classes of weapons (artillery, engineers, anti-aircraft units, etc.);
2.2. civil-military cooperation (cooperation with the state and public institutions and media);
2.3. structure, arms,, tactics of the NAF, NATO and the conditional opponent;
2.4. military pedagogy, management and psychology basics;
2.5. procedures for drafting laws and regulations;
2.6. physical fitness, physiology, training program development;
2.7. work in the intercultural business/military environment and business etiquette, protocol, tradition;

3. The KNOWLEDGE at the level of use:
3.1. all kinds of military operations (at one’s profession level) – planning, analysis, implementation thereof;
3.2. decision-making process, management and control cycle (situation awareness, planning, issuance of orders, monitoring / control);
3.3. requirements and standard governing of the NAF structure, mission, arms, machinery, equipment maintenance, ensuring of application task execution according to the speciality;
3.4. management and use of the communication systems;
3.5. information technologies and office equipment;
3.6. presentation skills;
3.7. staff management and staff management in the increased tension/stress conditions;
3.8. training preparation and management, training analysis and evaluation (including planning, organization, management, control and evaluation of training of high and increased danger);

1. To manage subordinate staff (up to 40 soldiers and civilian employees) at the time of peace and national hazards in various extreme and hazardous environments, ensuring the readiness of the staff to execute everyday and battle tasks.
2. To analyse the received orders and tasks, plan, organize and supervise execution thereof in accordance with the task, situation and standard procedures.
3. To adopt and define one’s decision and monitor the execution thereof.
4. To identify the most important tasks of the concurrent service tasks and organize execution thereof in the order of priority.
5. To show initiative and take responsibility for one’s decisions and actions.
6. To plan and provide military training of the subdivision soldiers, manage implementation thereof and personally participate in the subordinate staff training.
7. To plan and manage activities to strengthen military discipline, soldier training and team building.
8. To have good knowledge of international, state, and state defence regulations in the field of national security and defence and apply them as required.
9. To be able to handle and use environment-specific (sea/air/land) military equipment and facilities.
10. To know the design and operating principles of specific military equipment, machinery and facilities, as well as maintenance requirements and standards in accordance with the speciality.
11. Ability to analyse and use statistical data of environmental measurements (meteorological, synoptic, etc.) according to the environmental specific character and the mission.
12. To know and use standard operation procedures of specific military environment (sea/air/land).
13. To supervise and manage specific military operations in accordance with the level and place of the subordinate subdivision in the overall military mission.
14. To be aware of the service environment specific character (sea/air/land) and related laws and regulations.
15. To have good knowledge of protocol and business communication requirements.
16. To analytically use information available to execute the service tasks.
17. To carry out tasks both individually and in a team, lead the group, execute leader’s functions.
18. To work in psychologically challenging situations and get involved in problem-solving.
19. To understand and use psychology and pedagogy principles and methods when working with the staff.
20. To understand and use data obtaining, processing and systematization technologies, use office equipment.
21. To prepare and deliver presentations.
22. To organize cooperation with the national and local government institutions, non-governmental organizations and the media by observing communication business etiquette.

1. Ability to command a platoon.
2. Ability to adopt decisions, handle problems and manage the staff of the subordinate subdivision in different and constantly changing or unclear circumstances at the time of peace and national hazards, including extreme and hazardous environments.
3. Ability to obtain, analyse and use information required for performance of the service duties.
4. Ability to define and analytically describe information, problems and solutions, explain them and substantially debate about them.
5. Ability to ensure and maintain the professionalism and battle readiness of the subordinate subdivision.
6. Ability to implement training and educational activities of the subordinate staff and ensure discipline and good psychological microclimate within the subdivision.
7. Ability to plan, operate and maintain battle vehicles (including road vehicles, ships, aircraft), technical means and equipment at the disposal of the subordinate subdivision in accordance with the specific character of the relevant type of NAF.
8. Ability to understand and have good knowledge about the political, economic and military conflict processes within the country and worldwide.
9. Ability to observe the national military and civil laws and regulations of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) within the context of direct service duties execution and apply this knowledge in daily service situations.
10. Ability to understand the role and place of NAF and the represented speciality in the atate defence, society, in a global context through co-operation with national, foreign and local government institutions, companies and individuals in the field of state defence within one’s competence.
11. Ability to understand issues related to national security and defence and understand the place and role of the represented NAF subdivision in the overall context of NAF objectives.
12. Ability to organize the work of the subordinate staff with information systems, taking into account data protection.
13. Ability to ensure environmental protection and staff security measures during execution of official duties and tasks by taking into account the specifics of the military environment and, upon necssity, cooperate with the competent authorities.
14. Ability to maintain physical and psychological training as required by the position held and take care of one’s health.
15. Ability to perform one’s duties in the official language and at least one of the NATO’s official languages.
16. Ability to assess and act accordingly in life-threatening situations, provide first aid in case of emergency.
