The aim of the programme is to ensure students’ preparation for independent research activity,
– to provide them with academic education in computer science and train high-level computer science professionals with deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Within the framework of the programme the following knowledge and skills have been acquired:
– contemporary development tendencies in the sphere of theoretical informatics and information technologies;
– fundamental conception and systems methodology;
– international and professional standards in the sphere of information technologies;
– programming language and state of a system and principal options;
– ability to apply independently mathematical and information modelling techniques in solving scientific and applied tasks;
– to carry out scientific researches and obtain new scientific results;
– to adapt professionally and acquire new research methods and techniques;
– to apply in practice knowledge on organisation and planning of scientific research and project works, by using normative documents;
– to professionally design, submit and present results of scientific and manufacturing technology researches in one’s work field;
– to independently set and solve scientific and applied tasks in the sphere of informatics, applied mathematics and information technologies, according to the contemporary scientific and technical level.
