– to acquire the basic principles of business work, plan and manage work meeting requirements of a company in the sphere of leisure and entertainment in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia and statutory acts;
– to analyze and get aware of the present economic development regularities and principles, as well as current processes in the economic environment;
– to take decisions according changes of the present situations;
– the knowledge and analytical skills in the sphere of research regularities within the programme specialization in leisure and entertainment industry: including the issues of leisure and entertainment marketing and management;
– to acquire the ability to manage communications in the field of organizational and cross-cultural communications, as well as the ability to manage intracorporate communications at the national and international level;
– to acquire knowledge of the basic theories of communication studies and the ability to apply this knowledge in the management of communication processes;
– to acquire skills and abilities in implementation and organization of communication campaigns in the field of leisure and entertainment;
– professional competences in leisure and entertainment management observing the Latvian and international norms.
