1. The knowledge necessary for performance of the basic tasks of the professional activity at the level of notion:
1.1. STCW Convention Competences Standard/Code A-II/4 – “Minimal competences standard specifications for the seafarer that are in the existing staff navigation guard (within the staff of guard sailors)”
1.2. SCTW Convention Competence Standard A-II/5 “Minimal competence standard specifications for qualified sailors”.
2. The knowledge necessary for performance of the basic tasks of the professional activity at the level of understanding:
2.1. STCW Convention Competence Standard/Code A-II/4 – “Minimal competence standard specifications for the seafarer that are in the existing staff navigation guard (within the staff of guard sailors)”

The professional competences necessary for the ship sailor are prescribed by STCW Convention Competences Standard/Code A-II/4 – “Minimal competence standard specifications for the seafarer that are in the existing staff navigation guard (within the staff of guard sailors)” and SCTW Convention Competence Standard A-II/5 “Minimal competence standard specifications for qualified sailors”.
The COMPETENCES necessary for the ship sailor are prescribed by STCW Convention Competence Standard/Code A-II/4 – “Minimal competence standard specifications for the seafarer that are in the existing staff of navigation guard (within the staff of guard sailors)” and SCTW Convention Competence Standard A-II/5 “Minimal competence standard specifications for qualified sailors”.
